Microphone access
Microphone permission is requested only after you choose to start recording. If the browser blocks it, check the permission setting for this site and confirm that another app is not using the microphone. A working microphone and a secure connection are required.
The recorder stops automatically after 15 seconds. You can stop it earlier, listen to your clip, and record another section if needed. Very short or silent clips can fail audio validation.
Audio file uploads
Select Upload, choose whether your file contains original music or humming, then browse for an audio file. Files must be under 10 MB and contain at least 10 seconds of supported audio. A decoding error does not mean the song is absent from the catalog; try a compatible MP3 or WAV file.
Unavailable recognition
If the work area says recognition is unavailable, try again later. This is different from a completed search that finds no matching song. If the problem continues, contact support with the search mode and the message you see.
Free access and usage limits
You do not need to sign in or pay to record, upload or search. If you see a usage-limit message, wait a minute before submitting another clip.
If recognition is unavailable, try again later. Include the input mode and error message when reporting a problem. Do not send confidential recordings.
